The 2020 Taiwan Fire Open Competition entry: 〈 I GOT 1 〉, is divided into two parts: the first part,〈 Flashlight 〉, showcases the endless possibilities of tech fire fans, while the second part,〈 Moonshine 〉, emphasizes the impeccable coordination of a duo. The entire work implicitly conveys the message: We are not without anything. At this stage in Taiwan, we have explored many of the fire dance props, special effects, and performance styles. Yet, our kind of dance is unique in the world. Just as the fire s chose us, we too chose the fire fans.
