In 2025, YiHsuan Chen served as an instructor at the Fire Drums Festival and was invited to perform in the festival’s grand show. This marked Pineapple Tetrapod’s first official performance in the United States. A new, original piece was created specifically for the occasion, showcasing the troupe’s signature style—blending Taiwanese fire fan techniques with the dynamic allure of K-pop idol choreography on stage in California.
